30: Introduction Fall 2014

Welcome All, and Welcome Myself,
This blog was and is originally created to satisfy the requirements for Critical Thinking, thus the title 'Critical Thinking Challenge'. Although the purpose may be for the course, the content included within this blog may not be.

This is a general welcoming as a first-post basically stating my plans for this blog as a whole for the remaining time for the semester of Fall 2014. As per usual, this first post will include an introduction about myself as well as information about future goals and ambitions. Hopefully this will not only meet the criteria needed for the course, but also attract any outside attention that may be interested in studying about the inside mind of a current college student.

The level of etiquette presented in this blog will be informal, personal opinions as well as reflections on topics shown on the media. With that being said, I intend to have three days a week dedicated to creating posts for this blog. The Schedule will be as follows:

= Tuesday - Real Life Student =
This will be comprised of personal thoughts and future plans I have for the week in terms of classes and my overall opinion on how I believe the week will go.

= Thursday - Media and Topic Research =
This day will be dedicated to research involving my term final topic and any related media that may have appeared in recent news.

= Sunday - Reflection =
Finally, the week will end on Sunday, used to be Saturday, and I plan to reflect upon how I thought the week was to go, and how it actually went, along with any additional information found about my specific topic.

Lastly, In this post I will talk briefly about my life and the above mentioned topic.
My name is Branden Williams and I am a second semester student at Savannah State University. My Current major is Computer Information Systems and because of such, I plan to be in college for 5 years. I am also enrolled in NROTC, so expect some personal grief about physical training. The Topic I have selected for Critical Thinking is as follows, "Attending College leads to Communism." Of course it doesn't sound like a strong topic from the beginning, but with what I have planned, I know I'll be able to argue it.
