11: End of the Blog

Welcome All, and Welcome Myself,
Today is going to be the last day of the blog posts. After today I will only post a few assignments. This means no more reflections nor predictions.

With school coming up to finals week, my research has already ended, and there will be next to nothing I would be able to post. I already noticed in the last few posts that the amount of content was slowly declining. Sooner or later, an entire post will just be a few sentences and personally I would rather end the blog before that happens.

Last Reflection
The weeks leading up to this have been close, but never exact to my predictions. As I got better with PT, the training got less tiring, and with less work to do, I often found myself with a lot of a free time. Nothing much will change in the upcoming weeks, but it's always good to reflect upon the past every once in a while.

Last Prediction
After this blog post, I will no longer need to blog every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday/Sunday. This will give me even more free time for nothingness. I'd hate to be so blunt but teachers are assigning less and less work and although it's not a bad thing, it leaves so much time for everyone that they would not previously have. As I write this, I honestly don't know what else to put as nothing interesting is scheduled to happen in the next month.

06: Research [Conclusion]

Welcome All, and Welcome Myself,
As the finals week comes ever so nearer, my research must end. The due date for the research topic and paper is due Tuesday, so this will be the last research day. Here I will talk about how I want my paper structured, like an outline.

·         Introduction
o   Open with rhetorical questions
§  Think back to high school, or even middle school, remember your least favorite subject.
§  Why should we have to take those exact courses in college?
o   Transition into first paragraph

·         Democracy VS Communism
o   Describe Democracy
o   Show key points in Communism and connect with the audience.
o   Compare how Democracy does nothing for us in terms of personal experiences.

·         College in terms of Communism
o   Open with a comparison to communism.
o   Talk about school systems and their hierarchy.
o   Relate school systems to College
o   Explain College’s “Well Rounded” Approach
§  Give a beneficial fix either here or in conclusion
o   Give an example of issues in Savannah State University with the above point.
o   Talk about Majors and what we will do after college.
§  Mention that everyone in your major is the same regardless of classes.

·         Real World Jobs and Applications affected by Communism in Schools
o   Talk Briefly about Qualifications and then go right into payment
o   Compare Communism to a normal employment.
o   Counter argue Democracy and “Freedom”
o   Explain why Communism seems more apparent in our lives.

·         Conclusion
o   Open lastly with the thought about the least favorite subject again.
o   Talk about what United States needs to do.
o   Give us more of a choice in our experience.
o   End with a rhetorical question

§  “If you were in power and had the opportunity to change any aspect of college, what would you do?”

04: Games and Such

Welcome All, and Welcome Myself,
Today is Tuesday, and with the school year coming to a close there are only a few predictions left, so lets get right into it shall we?

Monday
It wasn't as bad as it could've been Monday. We had a 2-mile run and short-card for PT and then I was able to get a lot done with my courses. I took two tests in Pre-Cal and Intro to Naval, and then reviewed our requirements for the presentations in my other classes. Pretty easy day.

Wednesday
Today we will have a 5-mile interval run. That is always so inviting, but alas necessary. Afterwards I have review of previous tests and presentations to sit through for most of my classes. There's not much I can say about Wednesday.

Thursday
Welcome to new uniforms! As stated in previous reflections, we at NROTC were issued new uniforms for the dress and summer apparel respectively. This week we will be having a Service Dress Blues (STB) Inspection. The STBs are usually comfortable so I cannot wait for that. Otherwise Thursday is like Tuesday in which I have time allocated for blog posts and research, so stay tuned for those.

Friday
Finally the official week ends on Friday. I am currently unsure about the type of Physical Exercise they have planned but for NROTC we have a special guest coming to see us. This will get me out of my Intro to Naval course, although I don't mind that one. Afterwards I have a presentation to attend and talk about in Psych and finally ending the day off with another presentation to sit through in Critical Thinking. So much work to be done on such a relaxing day.

Saturday
Saturday is like most of the other weekends in NROTC. Today there will be a basketball game along with a football game that we have to work. As of this moment I have no word on whether I will be working either one, but I assume I will. After Saturday, Its all relaxation from there.

04: Family Issues

Welcome All, and Welcome Myself,

Note: This post actually didn't publish the first time. It was suppose to publish on 02, but didn't.
Its Sunday! Another reflection is on its way, but first let me talk to you all about issues involving the family. Sooner or later your family will have a big crisis, and before you say, "This will never happen to my family, we are perfect," it will. Recently my family has been going through troubles with my little sister and finally over the weekend it caused a fight to break out between my parents. Thankfully its all resolved but that doesn't help to make me wonder if this could happen again... I wanted to say that no matter what your family is going through, it should not effect your studies.

Back to the Reflection!
My predictions from last Tuesday were pretty spot on. I felt like a pool of pudding after Friday, but it wasn't all that bad. Like I stated Tuesday, the paperwork is beginning to die off as we are getting closer to the final weeks of school. I'm glad personally, but I cant help but to wish I could do a paper instead of a million speeches.

= Grades / Classes =
My grades have been staying steady at A's and high B's. The last time I was given my GPA was during midterms and it was a 3.6. I'm sure if I haven't passed that, then I will soon enough. The classes are a different story however. With it getting down to finals week, all of the teachers are assigning presentations and group projects that are frankly unnecessary. It all seems worthless to me whether or not someone can speak in a crowded room, and why punish those who already can?

= Friends =
My friends have become less apparent over the last few days. With everyone preparing their presentations and speeches, there's little time for socializing. Most of the time people just want to relax after they get done, not go out and party and feel like crap the next day.

= School Events =
The school went all out for Halloween with costumes and decorations and candy, but I am one of those who don't celebrate Halloween, so it was just interesting to see everyone's homemade costumes.

= NROTC =
NROTC is NROTC. Nothing changes with this program except the fact that we were issued more uniforms. Unfortunately if I'm not complaining about the Physical Training, then there's not much I can put in this section.

30: Job After College [Main3]

Welcome All, and Welcome Myself,
Another Thursday to end out the week, another main point to discuss; this time its after college! College was, and still is, a main contributor to the whole communism dilemma that seems to have a reoccurring theme in my speech, but what happens after college? Does communism still appear? Indeed it does.

3) Real World Jobs and Applications and the effects of College Communism

Communism in Jobs
The idea that a system involving a hierarchy can exist in America was shocking enough with Middle, High school, and College, but did you know that it is even implemented in the work force as well? A Country so dedicated to electing people to represent you as a person, yet it only applies when dealing with the government. In a normal Job workplace, you are a new employee and have to follow orders from your boss who, let me remind you, was not elected, but hired into office. Sound familiar? You are brand new and expected to know nothing about the job, yet for some people have majored and studies that field of work for years in college, and someone is hired above you who may or may not know less than even you do. Granted, most CEO and major corporate bosses have went through college already, but not all of them. The only freedom you are guaranteed is the freedom to quit your job, with regards to the constitution of course.

Communism After College
As stated above, a normal work place sounds all too familiar to the very definition of communism, but what about all of the college graduates that do not attend a normal work environment? What about all the doctors and nurses and tech students? According to communism, everyone is in the same group based on abilities and needs. This can be translated into America's system by saying everyone is apart of the same group based on qualifications. The bad news is, Regardless of what classes were taken in college, if someone comes out of college with a degree in medicine and wishes to be a doctor, they are the same as every other person with a fresh degree in medicine wanting to be a doctor. Nothing sets them apart like they thought. Your "Choices" in classes for college mean nothing when it comes to hard copy pen and paper. The only qualifications are your major and your goals.

Results
Although Democracy and Communism are two very different ways of living, it seems the school systems and how jobs are run favor the communistic style of management. From hierarchies to the way new graduates are classified, nothing in the current systems scream democracy like many Americans think it does. They give you choices along the road to feel as if you dictate your own path, but looking at the bigger scheme, all of that does not matter. Every person, regardless of actual talent and abilities, will be judged by classifications and put into jobs where they will have to answer to someone above them. This is not an opinion, it is a fact.

28: Week Ahead

Welcome All, and Welcome Myself,
Although Today is Tuesday, I will not be doing the traditional prediction with every day laid out with a mini paragraph each. Instead i will provide a paragraph or two summarizing the entire week.

Physical Torture
First off, Physical Training is going to be difficult. From Burpee Long Jump Circuits to 7-mile runs, I am going to be nothing but jello after this week. After the physical training has worn me out, I have presentations and speech training all this week as well. My group I was assigned isn't the most beneficial, but they usually get work done.

Paperwork
The work load for the week isn't much at all. If I look past the presentations and speeches, then the written work is really nothing to even think about. Usually I have papers due or online work to complete, but with it being so close to the end of the year, All of that is getting smaller and smaller.

28: PostWar Reflection

Welcome All, and Welcome Myself,
Today will be another reflection post. Sooner or later these will get tiring, but as for right now, not so much.
This week was completely different than what i originally predicted. Instead of having time for these posts, I was busy with NROTC all day on Thursday, Friday and Sunday.

= Grades / Classes =

Grades and classes really haven't changed. It is getting closer to the end of the semester so all of the classes are slowing down and assigning less work. Quizzes and Tests also seemed to have stopped, but this is probably only temporary.

= Friends =

I haven't been hanging out with my friends like i used to. The stress of college is getting to them more than myself, but we all have a lot of work to do. Although not much work is assigned, the few that is indeed given to us, it takes a while to complete, stuff like projects and presentations.

= School Events =

No school events have occurred recently that I wanted to go to. There are always events going on but whether or not I want to attend.

= NROTC =

As stated previously, I was busy all weekend last week. We were just issues our Service Dress Blues and Summer Whites. Afterwards we sent off our pants to get hemmed.

= Other =

Nothing too interesting happened last week other than NROTC duties.

28: School Communism [Main2]

Welcome All, and Welcome Myself,
Another Thursday, another research day; this time college! Today will be my next major point being "Purpose of College in terms of Communism." Obviously I will be talking about the college system, but more than just that. I will touch up on all school systems, not just college.

2) Purpose of College in terms of Communism

 School Systems
In today's school system, not only is it hierarchy based, but also, in terms of high school and middle school, make you into a 'well-rounded' person. You may be thinking, "Isn't that a good thing?" Well in an argument in Democracy VS Communism, it is not. The fact of the matter is that while democracy allows you elect officials and voice your opinion, the concept of Democracy plays next to no role in shaping each individual person. Democracy has a bigger viewpoint in determining how the country is run. Communism on the other hand tackle problems dealing with people. The infamous phrase "removal of the poverty and class" defines communism all too well.

College's Goals Revised
In college, especially HBCUs, there seems to be an issue with all of the undeclared majors. Majors in general are not entirely "your choice" in the way of democracy either. For one thing, everyone in your Major will come out of college with the same knowledge and the same qualifications as if you never went to college in the first place. All of the required courses contribute more towards communism than anything, but I digress. Back to the issue of undeclared majors; college needs to implement a sort of trial basis for their first minimester. instead of allowing undeclared majors and forcing the declared majors to take basic courses, the first minimester should contain a job-like experience in each area of study. This will provide the students with on-hand experience and allow them to see what its like and if they actually want to do it. Honestly I feel this would be more helpful than anything colleges already have.

27: Where I've Been

Welcome All, and Welcome Myself,
Today is October 27th, and exactly 20 years ago I was born into this world to do nothing but work and pay taxes. Enough about something that happened so long ago, lets talk about what's been happening recently.

Excuse
Over the course of all last week, my Predictions detailed the basics of what was "supposed" to occur; well I was way off. Instead of having time dedicated for each post, I was overwhelmed with everything NROTC had me doing. If indeed I tried to do any posts, that would cut into time I needed to rest, eat, etc (essentials). As a result I was unable to get my two posts for Research and Reflection out, and that is why I am making this post right now.

Resolve
Within the next two days, hopefully on Tuesday, I will post out my Reflection and Research that were due to come out last week. This way, instead of just ignoring them, they will just be a few days late.

Hopefully this will clear up any confusion I had with myself and any that my few viewers may have had.

21: A Change in Schedule

Welcome All, and Welcome Myself,
Those of you who keep up with my blog may have noticed there was no reflection this week. It was intentionally not posted for the reason of this blog post right now. Due to my Saturdays often being filled with duties from NROTC, I will be moving the reflection to Sunday. The older posts will still exist and say Saturday, but I've edited the introduction to now say Sunday. Hopefully this will clear up any missed posts from now on.
Alas, today is Tuesday however, and not Sunday, so this post will be another prediction post for my week.

Monday
Today was exhausting if i say so myself. Starting off with a bear crawl circuit and a 2(2.5) mile run, the day's activities were not going to get much easier. Thankfully I had a movie watch scheduled for my Critical Thinking class, so a good portion of my exhaustion was drowned in House of Cards (S1:Ep1).

Wednesday
Today will start with a Track Workout and Buddy Card PT. Honestly I do not know the entire extent of what's to come, so it probably wont be fun. Afterwards I have a quiz in NROTC, and then finishing up with a Writing Assignment in Psych and movie watch in Critical Thinking. It will be a mixture of exhaustion and relaxation, so not too bad of a day.

Thursday
Another Drill day. My schedule is set up where Tuesdays and Thursdays are usually free from classes, which is why I scheduled the blog posts to be on these days. There shouldn't be too much going on today, but things do come up.

Friday
Finally the end of PT for the week. For PT we have a Company Swim PT/Gym Endurance scheduled. I don't know what Gym Endurance is, but I am a little relieved on the Swim PT. During the week, a couple friends and I are going to see if we can get Critical Thinking canceled on Friday. If that happens, I will only have my morning classes and be done by lunch as my Psych class is already canceled.

16: Research of Basics [Main1]

Welcome All, And Welcome Myself,
Today is the start of another day of research. First, before getting to the main argument of the research, you must first establish a ground of understanding with the audience. I was always told to explain the basics and the grounds on which your argument resides before starting the debate. The base for my topic is in my first main point:

1) Basics of Communism vs. Democracy

Democracy

  • Democracy is often related to the phrase "free country," but that is not the sole definition. In fact, the entire misconception that democracy means free country is far from true. Democracy is defined as a system of government that is run by the whole population usually through elected representatives.
  • The concept of elected officials grants the population a decent amount of power in determining how the country should be run; this created a range of fault or leisure in which anything not already covered by law, is usually free to be practiced or taught. This is where the phrase "Free Country" comes from; the freedom we as people gain to say or do what we please with regards to laws and regulations.
Communism
  • Communism is often described as no matter how hard you work, you're still getting paid the same as the guy next to you. This statement is true if you only look at the fact of payment, and not the issue of job rank or job structure. Communism is defined as a political theory by Karl Marx that advocates class war and work is delegated by abilities and needs. The purpose of Communism, and more specifically Marxism, is to treat everyone equally and get rid of any class struggle.
  • The issues with Communism, is that it is often classified as having no choice or opinion in politics or even sometimes the workplace. Although, mostly accurate, the fact that a person is working in the first place makes communism more of an equality based government than democracy, but with less freedoms.

Democracy vs. Communism
Regardless of the Communism vs. Democracy debate, there are individuals on both sides of governments who attempt to abuse the system to reap personal benefits. This is more often seen on the side of Democracy, as the freedoms are more accessible than on the Communist side. The most common occurrence of these situations are in the school system; however the school system itself seems to be based more on communism than democracy anyways, but that's for next week's research.

14: Technical Difficulties

Welcome All, and Welcome Myself,
So today is Tuesday and the last post I did was on last Tuesday, something doesn't add up right? Not only was I not feeling well over Fall Break, but My laptop was having issues with updates and the internet browser, resulting in it being almost unusable on Thursday through Sunday. Talk about bad timing? As I had missed my blog post for research, I couldn't possibly just "make it up," however I can make up with reflection for Saturday's post.

Saturday
This will be the reflection that was suppose to be done on Saturday, if only my laptop would have worked as planned, but something things like this happen.

= Grades / Classes =
Overall, by grades didn't change from last week. What happened was that since it was only 3 days last week (2 working days), My teachers didn't schedule tests or quizzes and only did studying and section reviews. So far so good with all of my classes.

= Friends =
Since I went home for the fall break, there was really nothing I could have done with my friends, as most of them are on campus and very few back at home.

= School Events =
There were no school events scheduled for last week.

= NROTC =
In NROTC we had another run on Wednesday; this time a 3-mile Fartlek run. After all of that was done, I was so glad that I had no other physical training to do for the rest of the week as my legs were in pain all Fall Break.

= Other =

Nothing too interesting happened over Fall Break as it was mostly a time for relaxation away from classes for all of the students on the campus. Whether they went home or stayed here, I can guarantee that all of the students did next to nothing the entire break.

Now starts the predictions for Tuesday's post.

Monday
Monday started off with a 2-mile Platoon run to kick off the day after break. Afterwards was a relaxing day of easy class assignments and overall better day than most of last week. If i wasn't scrambling to get everything turned in on time from Fall Break, I would say nothing happened today.

Wednesday
Today will be our PFT/PFA. This means that all NROTC midshipmen are to be tested to see if they can pass a physical requirements test. Thankfully it is just a Mock test, meaning it doesn't count towards our record, but It's still nice to know where you stand in terms of performance. I'm not too concerned with classes for Wednesday as in most of them we are just going over a new chapter for a test on Friday.

Thursday
Research day; otherwise known as torture day. With my chosen research topic being so specific it is often difficult to find specifically what I'm looking for. I even had a hard time finding sources for my Annotated Bibliography that was due last week, but I managed to find 3/4 needed. It's not like Communism is hard to find, it's more along the lines of finding topics about communism that relate to college students and college experiences.

Friday
This will be my last day for the week, so it's always going to be one of my favorite. After kicking off the day with an 8-station ability circuit (which if I may add isn't that bad at all), my day starts really starts at around 1 pm with my Psych Quiz. After that I only have to endure Critical Thinking and I'm free for the weekend (Granted I already completed my 10 hours of Mando).

Saturday
Today Is my weekend, and I will be posting a reflection post later on in the day, but that is after I work the football game. I am unsure about my shift as of right now, but I already know I'm working one of the stations for this game.

07: Fall Break

Welcome All, and Welcome Myself,
Its Tuesday, meaning it's time to make predictions on who my week will go. Fortunately for me, I already know how its going to turn out. Thursday and Friday are Fall Break, so that means no school no obligations. A lot of the students here need a break. Although the reflection posts have categories, the prediction post doesn't always have to. Being that the weeks change and not everything can be explained in categories.

Fall break is around the corner on Thursday and Friday, so since its Tuesday, half of the week is already over.

Monday
Monday was exhausting. I started the week with a 5-mile run and two Midterms in my classes. Thankfully my schedule allows a break on Tuesday, but I can expect another test soon.
I have already completed Midterms for all of my classes, for which I am glad. This week, although short, will probably feel tiring, but in reality is just as difficult as any other week. The mentality that we only have 3 working days this week makes the days feel longer and the time we can spend on work seem shorter. I know I was rushing to get one of my midterms in on time, and I'm probably not the only one.

Wednesday
I can expect Wednesday to be just like Monday, where as it starts rough and then ends with tests. The middle of the semester is usually the perfect time for all teachers to give tests, quizzes, or reviews. Honestly I do not mind a brain teaser, but when I have three tests for three different subjects, it can be quite exhausting on the mind. It sometimes feels like I am back in Middle School or  Elementary School taking the CRCT. Overall the tests really don't bother me as much as back then because I'm not forced to sit in one chair for 2 hours at a time.

Fall Break
Thursday and Friday are fall break, as I've said multiple times. I am excited to start my 4-day weekend from school. I had planned to go back to my house over the break back in Camden County. To be able to get out of school and relax in my own home for  3-4 days seems like paradise. College students, depending on schedule, usually work their minds and bodies 5 days a week and get 2 days of rest. When a break like this comes around, It is a good refresher to the mundane lifestyle of a normal college student. It's a shame that it will only last a couple extra days. I cannot wait for winter break.

05: Late Submissions

Welcome All, and Welcome Myself,
Saturday is usually the day where I reflect upon my week and see if it was exactly how I had expected it to be on Tuesday; unfortunately I was busy all day Saturday so instead this post will be posted on Sunday! Since Tuesday was the introduction post, I did not give a week prediction, but that doesn't mean I can't reflect upon the week.

How this reflection will go from now on is I will have a set amount of categories that I will talk about after the week is done and during my predictions. These categories are:
  • Grades / Classes
  • Friends
  • School Events
  • NROTC
  • Other
In terms of Other, that will usually be anything I did not previously talk about that happened during the week.

= Grades / Classes =
Overall my grades have been doing well. I have improved on Psychology and applied many different study methods I learned about throughout the school semester to the quizzes. Last quiz I received a 70, but this time I know I got a 90! So far so good in every other class, and only really had issues in Psyc.

= Friends =
Me and my friends are actually getting closer. I have a small circle of friends that includes around 4~5 people (Non-NROTC). Unfortunately with the closer you get to someone, the more you know about their likes and dislikes and it can lead to problems if the two parties are not in sync. I have yet to lose a friend I've cared about, but all can change with one wrong word.

= School Events =
I don't attend many school events, however on Saturday there was a football game that was rather interesting. I have never been a fan for football so I did not pay attention too much to the game, but I had to work the seating in the stadiums for the attendees. It was a fun experience and If i had to, I'd gladly do it again.

= NROTC =
Physical Training is always going to be a grief of mine because I am not the best physically out there. Over the week we had a combination of fun training and rather exhausting training but it all ended with a swim PT on Friday, which was the icing on the cake. I enjoyed this week, and can only look forward to next week.

= Other =
Lately I have seen myself stressing less about assignments and stressing more about the quizzes and tests. There was one issue I ran into this week however. During Friday and the weekend I had a technical difficulty in opening my Microsoft Office on my laptop. This wouldn't usually bug me if i didn't have a 4-page paper due Monday. It works currently, but I lost a good amount of time and can only hope I can get it done.

02: Start of Research [Intro]

Welcome All, and Welcome Myself,
Today is the day to start on the research for the topic I chose, however you cannot start research without first making an outline. In place of a current event or discussions about communism, this post will be about listing and describing the main points for the presentation.

First off, the topic at hand must be listed in a clear statement, describing what I plan to write about. This sounds a lot like a thesis statement, but in a presentation there is no clear thesis, so I will not bind myself to any one sentence. Instead, I plan to wrap the entire assignment around being persuasive and factual with all of my information.

"Attending college creates the very thing we as a democratic nation try to abolish, communism."

As the above sentence states, My topic is about the purpose of college and how it creates communism instead of working towards our choices.

1) Basics of Communism vs Democracy
  • Since you cannot start talking about a controversial topic if not all of the readers know what it is, I plan to cover the basics of the long debated war over communism and why our nation despises it as a whole.
2) Purpose of College in terms of Communism
  • The purpose of this paper, and later presentation, is to be persuasive and "paint a picture" showing the audience your views on the topic. In order to do such a task, I must explain my reasoning in the point of view I want my audience to see. As a result, in this section, I will intentionally talk about College only in ways it supports the communistic living style.
3) Real World jobs and applications affected by Communism in the College system.
  • Finally, I plan to discuss briefly about some of the real-world visualizations I have found while researching my topic.
  • I will touch up upon corporate procedures and the way current middle class people are living their lives.
I understand this is going to be a hard topic to research and find information on, but it wouldn't be as interesting if all of the information was given to you. I can see this turning into more of an opinion based paper than a purely factual, but facts are not everything.

30: Introduction Fall 2014

Welcome All, and Welcome Myself,
This blog was and is originally created to satisfy the requirements for Critical Thinking, thus the title 'Critical Thinking Challenge'. Although the purpose may be for the course, the content included within this blog may not be.

This is a general welcoming as a first-post basically stating my plans for this blog as a whole for the remaining time for the semester of Fall 2014. As per usual, this first post will include an introduction about myself as well as information about future goals and ambitions. Hopefully this will not only meet the criteria needed for the course, but also attract any outside attention that may be interested in studying about the inside mind of a current college student.

The level of etiquette presented in this blog will be informal, personal opinions as well as reflections on topics shown on the media. With that being said, I intend to have three days a week dedicated to creating posts for this blog. The Schedule will be as follows:

= Tuesday - Real Life Student =
This will be comprised of personal thoughts and future plans I have for the week in terms of classes and my overall opinion on how I believe the week will go.

= Thursday - Media and Topic Research =
This day will be dedicated to research involving my term final topic and any related media that may have appeared in recent news.

= Sunday - Reflection =
Finally, the week will end on Sunday, used to be Saturday, and I plan to reflect upon how I thought the week was to go, and how it actually went, along with any additional information found about my specific topic.

Lastly, In this post I will talk briefly about my life and the above mentioned topic.
My name is Branden Williams and I am a second semester student at Savannah State University. My Current major is Computer Information Systems and because of such, I plan to be in college for 5 years. I am also enrolled in NROTC, so expect some personal grief about physical training. The Topic I have selected for Critical Thinking is as follows, "Attending College leads to Communism." Of course it doesn't sound like a strong topic from the beginning, but with what I have planned, I know I'll be able to argue it.
